This advanced specialty workshop is designed for injectors looking to refine their dermal filler techniques while developing stronger assessment skills to achieve natural, balanced, and high-level results.

This is not a beginner course.

This is where you move from simply placing filler… to understanding the face as a whole and treating with intention.

Course Information
We are excited to welcome our special guest instructor Amie Martin, BSN, RN, FNP-S. (@amiemartinrn)  Amie is a nationally recognized aesthetic nurse and educator based in the suburbs of Chicago, IL. With a foundation in plastics and operating room nursing and more than 15 years dedicated to aesthetic medicine, Amie blends advanced aesthetic expertise with a passion for anatomy, safety, and natural-looking results.
As the founder of Aesthetic Mentor, she provides comprehensive education and hands-on training to nurses, physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other aesthetic providers, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to deliver safe and effective treatments.
Amie’s international training experience informs her sophisticated, evidence-based approach to injectables, dermal fillers, and regenerative aesthetic tools. She believes that continual learning and mentorship elevate both clinical outcomes and professional growth.

This workshop provides experienced injectors with increased hands-on time to advance their injection techniques while strengthening their ability to assess, plan, and deliver full-face results.

Students will practice their injection skills under direct expert supervision while learning how to create treatment plans that lead to natural yet impactful outcomes.

Target Audience

• Physicians (MD)
• Nurse Practitioners (NP)
• Registered Nurses (RN)
• Registered Practical Nurses (RPN)
• Other regulated healthcare professionals within scope

Prerequisite:
Participants must have completed an introductory Botox and/or dermal filler training and have active injecting experience.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
• Perform a comprehensive facial assessment beyond isolated treatment areas
• Identify age-related volume loss and structural changes
• Develop full-face treatment plans focused on balance and natural outcomes
• Select appropriate products based on rheology and indication
• Apply advanced injection techniques using needle and cannula approaches
• Understand how midface treatment influences overall facial harmony
• Improve consultation skills to enhance patient trust and treatment outcomes

Course Structure

Didactic Session
A focused review of:
• Facial anatomy and vascular considerations
• Product selection and rheology
• Advanced injection techniques and planning strategies
• Consultation and assessment frameworks

Demonstration
• Live model assessment and treatment planning
• Step-by-step advanced filler techniques

Hands-On Training
Participants will:
• Inject on live models under expert supervision
• Practice both needle and cannula techniques
• Receive real-time feedback to refine technique and outcomes
• Observe and learn from peer treatments in a small group setting

Hands-on training on live models is essential to building confidence and safe technique in aesthetic practice

Models
Models may be provided; however, treatment areas cannot be guaranteed.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own models if they wish to focus on specific treatment areas or techniques.

Certification
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance – Advanced Dermal Filler Training.
